Black and Gold together is just yummy. A dear friend of mine a few years back brought me a beautiful birthday present (presents) and the underlining theme was of course black and gold. From a luxurious diptyque candle, to a gorgeous pair of Kate Spade oversized black rhinestone earrings encased in gold, the gift dazzled… After being beyond surprised and thankful for these lovely gifts, my good friend pointed out that black and gold paired together always reminded her of me and that she thinks it is one of my signature styles…! So here’s to Black + Gold in many lovely shapes and forms…enjoy!
Kelly Wearstler is a true master at pairing black & gold, and never ceases to evoke a Wow factor adding these colors into her projects. Whether it be by using shiny metallic hardware, statement furniture pcs, gilding or high-gloss paints, she nails this color pairing. You can see many examples of Kelly’s ingenious use of black & gold in one of my all time favorite coffee table books, HUE, by Kelly Wearstler.
These fabulous gold-accented Paperless Post invitations make me wanna throw a party!! : )
Striking original painting found on Etsy.
I have been secretly coveting this stunning 18k gold and ceramic Chanel watch for a few years now… Well I actually wanted a similar style but in white ceramic, then just today stumbled on it in black and it was love at first site…! White version here.
Loving these black and gold Kate Spade Karolina Bow Heels and think they’d be the perfect playful yet sophisticated accessory for this seasons holiday parties/events.
One of the things I love most about Kate Spade is the glossy gold hardware the brand uses on their purses and accessories. The Kate Spade Le Pavilion Laptop Sleeve is no exception, I have the computer bag version of this and adore it.
I am a huge fan of Voluspa candles and home fragrances. These luxurious candles make a great gift and come in an amazing range of scents and colors… Yum!
This Kindel Espana Bunching Chest originally designed by Dorothy Draper is a great statement piece while being so versatile. I could easily see a pair used as bedside tables, as a luxurious storage solution in a master bath, or having a few stacked together lining a wall in a living room.
Stay tuned for Part 2! Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!
